In just two years, the Spazio Conad brand has become a focus of new construction projects, with the
aim of continuing to leverage the Conad System’s marketing strategy in its catchment area with high-quality, complete and affordable shopping solutions. In these “large supermarkets”, customers can find a complete, practical, high-quality offer with great value for money, based on the distinctive elements of the Conad System: fresh and ultra-fresh products, an extensive assortment of local products and Conad-brand products, meeting consumer trends. Conad brand stores, despite their smaller average surface area than superstores, allow customers to enjoy a complete shopping experience that always meets their evolving needs. The range and service models are structured to suit the needs of customers and the surrounding catchment basin, taking on more or less urban characteristics with a focus on current service and needs,
for a convenient and basic, yet complete, shopping experience. There are 1,026 stores on the Conad City brand, with an average surface area of 347 m2. Of these, 172 are located in small Italian municipalities under 5,000 residents – a concrete expression of how this channel plays a social support role, even in less populous areas far from major urban centres.
